Polygons are 2-dimensional shapes, made of straight lines, and the shape is "closed" (all the lines connect.) Triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagons are all examples of polygons. The name tells you how many sides the shape has. For example, a triangle has three sides, and a quadrilateral has four sides. Grade 4 students were introduced with different types of quadrilaterals and polygons. Students were encouraged to build their understanding by performing various class activities. They showcased it through different pictures and videos.
