Conservation Day acknowledges that a healthy environment is a foundation for a stable and healthy society. Conservation is the care and protection of these resources so that they can be preserved for future generations. It includes maintaining the diversity of species, genes, and ecosystems. Conservation is similar to preservation, but while both relate to the protection of nature, they strive to accomplish this task in different ways. Young Presidians were told about the ways and means of conserving the environment. The students showcased immense avidity for the same. They drew posters, planted saplings, and promised to conserve nature to the fullest.
