"The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals."
India is known to be a cradle of civilizations, and the indigenous values form the core of school’s training and are embedded in children from early years through exposure to festivals. The joyous spirit of Janmashtami was celebrated with great zeal and pomp right from our tiny tots to grade 8 students. The students dressed as Radha/Krishna mesmerized everyone with their enchanting shlokas, songs/bhajans and captivating dance performances. The highlight of the event was a vibrant and lively theatrical presentation. The parent fraternity was overjoyed to see the performance of their little ones. Students were apprised about the importance of nurturing values through cultural and festive celebrations. Students were also advocated to imbibe the virtues of Lord Krishna in the day-to-day activities by being a great friend, a source of infinite wisdom, and possessing a very grounded demeanor.
