Global Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29th to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat.To promote this vital cause, our Presidians conducted a special assembly on ‘Save Tigers’. The young leaders talked about the project ‘Save Tigers’ and shared important facts about tigers and their pivotal role in balancing & maintaining the ecosystem. They expressed how these magnificent creatures will be on the verge of extinction if we don’t join hands to save them. With spectacular skits showcasing the pitiful life of a tiger and other inspiring performances, the students encouraged the audience to raise awareness about tiger conservation and actively participate in a global system of preserving our natural resources. Through this assembly, Presidium successfully fulfilled its aim of creating environmentally aware and responsible global citizens.

Quiz Competition is a contest in which participants test what they know by answering questions on one or more topics. It comes as a time to create awareness and enhance knowledge.To enrich general knowledge and promote healthy competition, an intra class quiz competition was organised in Presidium for the students of Grade 4 and 5 featuring various rounds like content and knowledge round,audio round, visual round and rapid fire. Students were very excited and they put their best foot forward to win the competition.It was a wonderful experience for them.

To commemorate the 23rd Kargil Victory day, students of Presidium conducted a special assembly to pay homage to the martyrs of the Indian army. On this occasion, the students shared various speeches stating the importance of Kargil Vijay Diwas followed by Hindi & English poems. Children were motivated to take such events as a learning experience in their lives. They took a pledge that they will always be dedicated to the growth & development of the country they live in that is Bharat -India.

Nelson Mandela International Day (or Mandela Day) is celebrated annually on his birthday,18th july in his honour. The day was officially declared by the United Nations with the first UN Mandela Day held in 2010. Mandela Day is a global call that celebrates the idea that each individual has the power to transform the world, the ability to make an impact. The celebration of this international day recognises and gives credence to the former President Nelson Mandela’s commitment to human rights, conflict resolution and reconciliation. An international campaign has been initiated by the Nelson Mandela Foundation which sums up what Mandela stands for. To promote Nelson Mandela Day students of Presidium celebrated this day through sharing slogans, speeches and posters.

Presidians have highlighted the ever-increasing significance of skills as the world is embarking on a transition towards a sustainable model of development. The corridors of Presidium enlivened with the glowing faces of our students. The teachers welcomed the leaders of tomorrow, with open arms and big smiles. The branch witnessed its warm reopening, with super excited students entering in full swing to learn, enrich and explore new possibilities. It was a sight to see them join back after a restful and enjoyable vacation. Teachers and staff welcomed the students with great warmth and avidity. Students were engaged in a host of welcome activities like team building, free dance sessions etc. Enthusiastic students also expressed their mood by taking selfies with smiley emojis. The entire day went smoothly, with every team member working in utmost synchronization with each other.
