The harvesting festival of India, Baisakhi, is celebrated by the farmers with a lot of joy and enthusiasm as this festival marks the time for the harvest of Rabi crops. Prosperous with the bountiful produce, they look forward to celebrating Baisakhi with all eagerness. It also holds religious importance in one of the most loved religions that is Sikhism. The Baisakhi is not only a festival to mark the Sikh new year or the harvest season, but also it marks the last Khalsa organized by the Guru Gobind Singh in 1966. The Sikhs are known for their joyous and loveable nature, and the festival of Baisakhi is celebrated for various reasons and by different communities. A special assembly was conducted where the Presidians celebrated the festival with zeal and enthusiasm by expressing it in various art forms. They celebrated the festival to spread peace, love, and harmony and to socialize with the community.

Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is an annual festival observed on 14th April to commemorate B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of our Constitution. He struggled for equality; hence this day is celebrated as 'Equality Day' in India. Presidians shared messages for equality, cited examples about Dr. Ambedkars' contribution to the framing of our Indian Constitution.

More than 100 years have passed, but the Jallianwala Bagh massacre continues to be the black spot in the history of India as GB General Reginald Dyer had ordered his troops to open fire at a crowd of unarmed civilians on April 13, 1919, on the joyous festival of Baisakhi. On the 102nd anniversary of the massacre, Presidians paid homage to all those who lost their lives in the deadly incident by showcasing posters and slogans.

The World Health Assembly was organized at Presidium. The theme for the year 2021 is "Building a fairer, healthier world for everyone." The celebration has aimed to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization. Over the past 50 years, this day has brought to light important health issues such as mental health, maternal and child care, and climate change. The celebration is marked by activities that extend beyond the day. This day serves as an opportunity to focus worldwide attention on these important aspects of global health. Presidians celebrated "The World Health Day" through Slogans and poster making with zeal and enthusiasm.

Holi Festival is not only a celebration of colors and sweets, but it also signifies the victory of good over evil, the culmination of the winter season, the arrival of spring, and it is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. Holika is burnt a day before Holi to remove negativity and bring the colors of positivity into our lives. The dominant idea behind Holi is to spread the message of harmony. Students at Presidium during the assembly brought to light the significance of the day by sharing their thoughts on Holi, making posters, and delivering speeches. To celebrate this festival of colours, students also expressed their love towards colours and spread the message to play safe Holi with organic and natural colours.

World Water Day is observed annually across the globe on March 22, with the purpose of highlighting the importance of water and raising awareness about the water crisis that the world faces. The resolution to observe World Water Day was first adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 22, 1992 and is celebrated around the world since 1993. The theme of World Water Day 2021 is “Valuing Water” and has been chosen to highlight the value of water in our daily lives. “The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, food, culture, health, education, economics, and the integrity of our natural environment. Presidians celebrated World Water Day through posters and slogans signifying the importance of water.

Money plays a huge role in society in a variety of ways, such as in business, at people's jobs, and even in education. A currency in the most specific sense is money in any form when in use or circulation as a medium of exchange, especially circulating banknotes and coins. A currency is a system of money (monetary units) in common use, especially for people in a nation. In the theme- World Around Us, students of Grade 4 learned about different currencies wherein they noticed different varieties of visuals on banknotes of various countries. For example, there are images of people, plants, birds, animals, monuments, or events on banknotes.

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4th February to raise awareness of cancer and encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day is led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration, written in 2008. The primary goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer. Students of Presidium created awareness through their slogans to motivate the cancer patients. They urged one and all to come forward and join hands in helping the people suffering from cancer.
