The agency is headed by Viral Pandya, a legend in Indian advertising, who was recently a jury member of One Show Design 2013, becoming the first Indian to be in the jury.
In 2011, a brochure OTB created for Mother’s Pride won the Gold Lion at Cannes Festival, arguably the world’s greatest advertising award. For the past seven years in a row, OTB’s work won Merit Awards at One Show Design, one of the world’s most prestigious advertising awards. This also includes a Silver and a Bronze Pencil. The many international awards OTB won also include a Gold from Graphis Annual and a Bronze at the New York Festival. A poster developed by OTB has been displayed by Museum of Design in Zurich.
The work is also included in the book Consumer Behavior (10th edition) by Michael R. Solomon, published by Pearson. The book The Stuff You Can’t Bottle: Advertising for the Global Youth Market by King Adz published by Thames & Hudson carries a detailed five-page interview with Viral titled ‘Interview With A Legend’. Luerzer’s Archive, a monthly compilation of the world’s finest work in advertising, has featured more than a dozen campaigns created by Out of the Box. Out of the Box has also won many national awards including two Golds and three Silvers and six Bronzes at GoaFest, India’s biggest advertising award.
The agency employs 25 people including illustrators, copywriters, designers, art directors and photographers.
