At, Presidium, we believe that trips and excursions are a perfect way to expand one’s horizons. This is why we organise regular excursions for students to promote learning through outdoor interactions, and experiences. In addition such trips also instil a sense of appreciation for the wonders of the earth and exposes one to a wide variety of cultural and geographical ecosystems.
Another important objective of planning trips is to provide an opportunity to teachers as well as students to bond with each other, giving both the parties a break from their hectic schedules.
INTERNATIONAL
We encourage students to gain knowledge and explore new things not just within the boundaries, but also beyond them. For exposing them to global opportunities, we often organise educational trips to international locations including Canada, Switzerland, Paris, New York, USA, UK, France, etc.
NATIONAL
Our objective in organising educational tours as a part of the curriculum is to offer students practical knowledge and hands-on experience in addition to the theoretical knowhow. Such trips teach them the most valuable lessons of life in relatively less time. We organise visits to places like Chowkidhani, Pratapgarh, Agra, Jaipur, Shimla, and Jim Corbett National Park, to name a few. Each destination differs in terms of cultural practices, rituals, life style, language, food, clothes, etc. These travels can give our budding leaders an opportunity to understand and embrace cultural diversity.
DELHI DRIVES
Exposing children to newer experiences arouses their curiosity about the world around them. Hence we give them opportunities to encounter things they only get to read about, encouraging them to explore and learn about what lies beyond the four walls of the school, and gain confidence to take on the world. The local trips organised are visits to Qutab Minar, Nehru Planetarium, National Museum, Aeroplanet, Trade Fair, National Rail Museum, Akshardham, Rajghat and many more.
