Presidium Punjabi Bagh celebrated Teacher’s day with great fun and enthusiasm. The assembly began with a dance performance on ‘Sarawati Vandana’ followed by the thought and talk highlighting the contribution of teachers in a student’s life. September 5 is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – the second President of India who was a great academic philosopher and one of the most well-known diplomat, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher. A beautiful poem highlighting the importance of aguru (teacher) was recited. Students also presented their amazing artwork prepared for this special occasion as their token of love for the teachers. Students thanked all the teachers for their diligence, sincerity and hard work. The school rejoiced, danced and played fun-filled activities together creating memories to cherish forever.

Independence Day at Punjabi Bagh was a celebration which brought enthusiasm and the true feeling of patriotism amongst all. It brought the feeling of nationalism and the power of being free and liberated. The ceremony began by hoisting the flag by our honourable Auntyji and Uncleji who graced the momentum of the celebration followed by a March past depicting the brave army soldiers, navy officers and air force commanders and sang the national anthem marking the respect towards the nation. The entire school rejoiced with colours of the Indian flag. The musical performances by students remembering our great freedom fighters, national songs by choir group, heart wrenching speeches took the celebration to a higher level.

Presideans celebrated the festival of Eid al-Adha with great fervour and gaiety. To express admiration and approval for this relegious ceremony the students dramatised a skit, performed a foot tapping dances, melodiously sang a song, shared preachings of Prophet Muhammad and the objective of celebration of Eid al-Adha. Thus, the festival was celebrated with immense exhilaration and excitement at Presidium, Punjabi Bagh.
